Thank you for your interest in a doctoral education in the Faculty of Nursing at Thammasat University. Our faculty is committed to the scholarly excellence and success of our students, and to the creation of a future scholarly community in which ideas are shared for the advancement of knowledge. As the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Thammasat, my aim is to improve the already-significant opportunities for our doctoral students to create new knowledge addressed to palliative care and family health nursing in order to serve the needs of the country. Ph.D. Progam in Nursing Science (International Program)

 

The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program) engages the Faculty of Nursing at Thammasat University in an interactive relationship with the School of Nursing at The George Washington University and the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in the U.S. These institutions confer and participate with one another in formulating a framework within which to execute the program of study and to arrange for the exchange of instructors and students by specifying the various conditions for the initial phase of the program.

Academic System
The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science is a full-time program and is self-funded. The duration of each semester is described as follows:
Semester 1: August–December
Semester 2: January–May
Summer: June–July

Time Frame
The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science is a 3.5-year program.

Program structure: 55 credits
